Nashville Shores RV Resort

We took the kayaks off the truck and drove into Nashville, thinking we might have to go into a parking garage. Of course we found an outdoor lot. We walked down the block to the Country Music Hall of Fame, where people were waiting in line to get in. Three floors of displays, stories, music and instruments is a lot to absorb. Surely one could return many times. Like any museum, go visit, absorb what you can and leave with a smile on your face. Come back for another dose another time.

Doug suggested we take in a few Honky Tonks, or places that serve beer and food while hopeful stars of the future perform. Some of his favorites were closed today, but we found some. It was a warm, sunny day, and people were out in shorts and t-shirts. Guys in blue jeans and boots were carrying guitars. It would be a great place to sit and take pictures.

We went to Merchant’s for a very nice lunch. It was a good day in the big city!

We went to Nashville over 10 years ago, I loved the city. Your pictures and story make me want to go back. Looks like a great trip so far for you and Martha.
    Be safe!

There is certainly a lot to do there Pam, and a lot we didn’t do. Happy we got out when we did though. They got 7 inches of rain right after we left.
