Martha snd I drove around Skidaway Island to get the big picture before we left. There is one road down the middle with many high-end, gated communities on each side. Some private drives had impressive gates and landscaped entrances.

We got back, packed up and headed south on I95 to St. Augustine, Florida. By lunchtime, it was 80 degrees and hot. I changed into shorts and a short-sleeved shirt. We pulled into North Beach Camp Resort about 3:30 and found our way to site 91, while Ruff and Sandra were in 104.
We went for an early dinner at the end of the campground, Aunt Kate’s. We were seated on the back porch with a great view of the sun setting over the North Tolomato River.
Dinner was excellent, and I ate way too much. I split a mussel appetizer with Sandra. For the main course I had grilled grouper, collards and mixed vegetables. We shared a piece of key lyme pie amongst the four of us. We decided to rate key lyme pies across Florida. this one was good. We gave it a 8.7 out of 10. Everyone’s dinner was excellent, atmosphere excellent and excellent service.
